At Carly's Angels Certification, we strive to make everything you learn practical and easy to apply in real-life settings. We offer group classes at our place or yours! We’re flexible with course times and schedules, so if you can’t find something that works for you, simply get in touch!

HEARTSAVER® CPR AED

The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Who should take this course?

The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements, such as:

  • Personal Trainers & Fitness Center Employees

  • Office Workers & Workplace Responders

  • Home Health Aides & Nursing Assistants

  • Hospital Employees that do not require BLS

  • Security Guards & Security Officers

  • Many Others


HEARTSAVER® PEDIATRIC FIRST AID CPR AED TRAINING

The American Heart Association's Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course reflects science and education from the AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.


Who should take this course?

The AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone involved in childcare who would respond to illnesses & injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives, such as:

  • Scouts Leaders, Church Youth Group Leaders & Camp Counselors

  • Day Care Teachers & Assistants, School Paras & Coaches

  • Nannies, Au Pairs, Babysitters, Parents & Grandparents

  • Many Others

FAMILY & FRIENDS® CPR

The Family & Friends CPR Course from the American Heart Association teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Who should take this course?

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for:

  • Community Groups, New Parents & Grandparents

  • Anyone interested in learning how to save a life!

BABYSITTER'S TRAINING + FIRST AID -
WITH OR WITHOUT PEDIATRIC CPR

The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course focuses on developing professionalism and leadership skills, entrepreneurship and the business of babysitting, how to stay safe and sound on the job, understanding kids ages 0-10, how to handle emergencies and how to provide basic emergency care, basic first aid, plus skills practice & testing for hand washing, bottle feeding, spoon feeding, dressing, and diapering.

***Babysitter's Training can be completed with or without Pediatric CPR certification***


Who should take this course?

This course is designed for 11-15 year olds that plan to babysit younger children within their own family or neighborhood, start their own babysitting business, or supervise younger children within the greater community.

SAFE@HOME PROGRAM

Safe@Home by Safe Sitter® is a program designed for students ages 8-12 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. A Safe@Home student booklet is provided for each student to take home.

Safe@Home is a 90-minute program that teaches students how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.

Safe@Home is ideal for students that have expressed interest in assuming the responsibility of staying home alone.
